Conference Venue

The conference will take place in the Event Hall (Level 1) of the School of Applied Mathematical and Physical Sciences, at the Zografou Campus of the National Technical University of Athens, approximately 5 km from the centre of Athens. The venue is located near the School’s auditoriums.

Reaching the Campus

The Zografou Campus can be reached by Metro (Line 3), bus, or car.

The nearest Metro station is KATEHAKI, located approximately 1.5 km from the Conference venue.

Upon exiting the Metro station, cross the road (not using the pedestrian bridge). Approximately 30 metres to your left, you will find a bus stop.

  • Bus 242: Enters the Zografou Campus. The 7th stop is the closest to the Conference venue.
  • Bus 140: Stops at the Kokkinopoulou Entrance of the Campus. The relevant stop is POLITECHNIOUPOLI (third stop).

The campus is also accessible by car, with parking available in designated areas.

Lunch & Catering Options

For lunch, participants may visit one of the several cafeterias available on campus offering light meals such as sandwiches, pies, salads, and beverages.

A full-service campus restaurant is also available, serving a variety of hot dishes at a cost of €4.00–8.00 per dish.

The Administration Building cafeteria is located immediately outside the Conference Hall for convenient access during breaks.

Athens Metro Network

The Athens Metro consists of three lines. The Conference venue is accessible via Metro Line 3 (Blue Line), with the nearest station being KATEHAKI.

The city centre (SYNTAGMA station) is also on Line 3, providing direct connection between the airport and central Athens.

Power & Electricity

The electricity supply in Greece is 220 V, 50 Hz (alternating current).

Appliances rated for 110–120 V may require a suitable step-down transformer (220/110 V).

Please ensure your devices are compatible before travel.

Standard power outlets are Type F (CEE 7/4), commonly known as “Schuko”, with grounding.

These sockets are also compatible with Type C (CEE 7/16 Europlug).
