2.Project Summary: C. Final Report (download)

3.WorkPackages/Deliverables:

WorkPackage1: Central database containing air pollution data (ozone and particulate matter) obtained from ground- and space-borne sensors during the intensive field campaigns (case studies) in the GAA (pdf)

WorkPackage2: Specialized software for the acquisition, analysis and visualization of lidar signals in real time (ozone mixing ratio and optical properties of aerosols (pdf)

WorkPackage3: Validated aerosol and photochemical (ozone) forecast models for the GAA, through a comparison of the modeling results with measured ground-based data for ozone and PM 10 concentrations in conjunction with space-borne aerosol observations (i.e. aerosol optical depth)(pdf)

WorkPackage4: Report on the performance of simulation models on the air pollution population exposure and dose of the GAA inhabitants (pdf)

WorkPackage5: Report on the correlation between air pollution exposure (dose-related response) and health indicators: a) hospital admission in the research area, b) nasal epithelium histology, c) identification of other possible indicators (white cell blood count) (pdf)

WorkPackage6: Dissemination of scientific results to the international community and relevant decision makers (pdf)
