MPEG-4 Video Decoder Functions

Intel IPP implements functions that are built to support the ISO/IEC 14496-2 MPEG-4 video decoder. MPEG-4 (see [ISO14496]) is a widely used coding method for video signals in various applications such as digital storage media, Internet, various forms of wired or wireless communications, etc. The functions, along with those described in the General Functions, cover the following aspects of MPEG-4 decoder:

All MPEG-4 functions can be applied if short_video_header equals 0. If short_video_header equals 1, use H.263 decoder functions.
