The Centre for Cosmology, particle physics and phenomenology at the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL), Belgium, invites applications for two postdoctoral positions in collider phenomenology and particle astrophysics. The appointment is for two years and should start preferably in fall 2019. The sources of funding include the new EoS (Excellence of Science) program in Belgium , the be.h project "The H boson gateway to physics beyond Standard Model” that started 1st of Jan 2018, as a collaboration among Université Catholique de Louvain (F. Maltoni) and ULB-TH (T. Hambye), ULB-EXP (B. Clerbaux), U. Gent (D. Dobur) and U. Antwerpen (N. Van Remortel) and VUB (S. Lowette), the MIS-Ulysse project (C. Degrande) on New physics searches at colliders and in astrophysics and the FNRS. Candidates should have a PhD in theoretical particle physics and/or in high energy astrophysics at the time of the appointment and should be in mobility. Candidates with experience in i) physics beyond the Standard Model at colliders, ii) production and propagation of high energy cosmic rays are particularly encouraged to apply. The successful candidates will join and reinforce the pheno group at the Centre for Cosmology, Particle Physics and Phenomenology, working on BSM searches at collider and in astrophysics (Fabio Maltoni and Celine Degrande), Dark Matter searches (Chiara Arina), neutrino phenomenology (Marco Drewes) and flavor physics (Jean-Marc Gérard). Applications should be submitted preferably before 7 December 2018. Later applications will be considered until the position is filled. Applicants should provide a curriculum vitae, a list of publications and a brief description of their research interests, as well as arrange for three recommendation letters to be sent separately. Applications should be submitted using the online form only: http://cp3.irmp.ucl.ac.be/Jobs/Details/CP3-19-THMISEOS-postdoc Contact: Celine.Degrande@uclouvain.be, Fabio.Maltoni@uclouvain.be
