The theory group at the University of Genova (Italy) is seeking applications
for a two-year postdoc position in high-energy theory or phenomenology. The
University and INFN high-energy phenomenology group (Biggio, Frixione,
Marzani, Ridolfi and Torre) has a wide set interests in LHC physics, both
within and beyond the Standard Model, and close interactions with the local
ATLAS, CMS and LHCb groups.

The position is expected to start in Fall 2019 but early appointments are
also possible.



The position is co-funded by a grant on new approaches to jet physics,
including both analytic and machine-learning techniques, so the selected
candidate will be expected to conduct part of his/her research on this
topic.
