Postdoctoral positions at the University of Barcelona

Postdoctoral positions are now open at the Institute of Cosmos Sciences (ICC) at the University of Barcelona. Candidates
in the areas of Gravitation, Cosmology, Particle Physics and String theory are encouraged to apply. For information

The positions will be funded by "La Caixa" Foundation under a new postdoctoral fellowships program, “La Caixa” Junior
Leader, aimed at hiring excellent researchers of any nationality to work at a Spanish centre with the Severo Ochoa or
María de Maeztu distinctions of excellence, such as the ICC. For more details about these positions please visit

Eligible candidates must have obtained their doctoral degree between 2 October 2014 and 2 October 2011. 

Appointments will begin between July and September 2018 for a period of up to 3 years. 

The positions come with generous travel and research support, as well as a salary competitive with other prestigious
postdoctoral fellowships.
